    You'll get by

    Filmed during Joe Cocker's US concert tour of 1970 in which he played with an extended family of roughly 40 musicians. As a concert film, there's nothing ground-breaking here, and we learn precious little about Cocker the man. One thing that does come shining through however is his indefatigable voice on stage. He may perform like an electrocuted marionette, but when the concert footage really comes to life in the second half of the film, it's hard not to be swept away by the sheer vigour of the music.
