Utterly Charming

If you can swallow the over-riding monarchistic frenzy about the Queen's coronation, this is a really sweet film about two kids who run away from home. There's a very European ethos to the picaresque narrative, heightened even more when the kids are separated in London and find themselves relying on the kindness of a variety of great thumbnail sketches of London society; especially the unbelievably euphemistically-portrayed Soho prostitute.
