The Overtures?

Why can't the people who produce these discs just get the proper licences to play Lennon`s music in the film, this is not a bad film, the newsreel is interesting and factual but for some reason all the music is by some band called The Overtures? Oh yeah I remember now that Lennon`s 1st band was Johnny & The Moondogs then they became The Quarrymen then he met Paul McCartney and formed The Silver Overtures, eventually George Harrison joined with Ringo Starr and they became The Overtures?
