ROBBED of nearly two hours of my life watching this drivel.
I love Snatch, Lock Stock, Gangster No1, Sexy Beast, Hard Men, etc. and this comes nowhere close. Even 'The Business' puts this in the shade. Not Vinnies best career move and as for Lennox Lewis........he should've stayed at home. Extremely dodgy acting, even dodgier accents, and a plot that's just nothing. Some of the action scenes are good, but not many. I was really looking forward to watching this and was left bitter and disappointed. I don't like dissing films, but this really was dire. Its not the fault of anyone inparticular (maybe director Mark Hammond) but none of it was any good and it was all put together in such a poor fashion, the whole film was just rubbish. Don't make the same mistake I did. Give it a miss !
Im going to make a film about irish republicanism set in Brixton instead of Belfast,. For actors Im going to use an ex footballer, an ex pop star, an ex rockstar and an ex heavyweight champion of the world. Then of course the leading man has play an irishman who doesnt sound irish, and the leading lady is going to sound but not look irish. Anyone lend me the money to make it.? I didnt think so. Well someone else got the money and made a brilliant and enjoyable film that i reckon will become a cult classic like Snatch. Well worth watching. Good storyline, casting, and with plenty of action.
