Domestic comedy of errors starring comedian Cedric the Entertainer as Nate Johnson, a Los Angeles man estranged from his wife and three children - who decides to reconnect with his family by taking them with him on a road trip to Missouri for a big family reunion. En route, everything that could possibly go wrong does go wrong: his wife (Vanessa L. Williams) is suspicious of him, the children won't stop squabbling, the onboard navigation system on their expensive new mobile home goes into meltdown - not to mention a run-in with the law and an unfortunate encounter with a cement mixer...

Very disappointing

I was quite looking forward to sitting in front of this with the kids, but I was going to be disappointed. It just wasn't particularly funny. All the quips and there obvious results happened far too quickly. 'We won't run out of gas', five seconds later, oooh, they run out of gas. The mishaps were so obvious it really ruined the film. The acting was pretty average and the whole film lacked oomph and was very uninspiring. The kids didn't even find it funny.

If you're looking for a few laughs, find something else.

Very Poor and Disappointing

I didn't enjoy this film at all. The acting wasn't that good and it wasn't really funny. I was going to turn it off half way through but I decided to watch the rest to see if it got any better....and it didn't! I kept waiting for something really funny to happen but it never did. Would not suggest this film to anyone. Bad all round.

this film is not that bad but its not funny it tries to be but it you like to rent then rent it but personal its not that good

This film was humorouse at times, quite entertaining, i think it was a lot like the Eddie Murphey films, but my son loved it, so to me it was worth renting just to have a fun night in.

Disappointment

To be honest, when i saw the trailer i thought it might be cutting it fine on the good viewing line, but i was wrong. I was bored after the first three minutes. There was no chemistry between any of the characters, and in my opinion they were all trying slightly TOO hard to make it work! Very disappointing.
