A hexed production
By RJNeb2 (934 reviews) from London , 04 Mar 2013While perhaps not quite as bad as its disastrous box office performance might indicate, “Jonah Hex” still manages to be a total mess in 81 short minutes. Admittedly a handsome film, narratively it doesn’t know what to do with itself, a Western comic book origin story that doesn't pay much heed to its origin and throws grizzled, facially scarred Hex into some ludicrous post Civil War story with talking corpses and very fanciful military hardware. Had potential to be an even more subversive version of “Pale Rider” but too many cooks appear to have spoiled this broth.- Was this review helpful to you?

Oh dear

Good comic book western
