Its rare that I'll write a review but this one deserves it because I loved it-only one criticism-it was too short! definitely worth watching.- Was this review helpful to you?

(160)It's awra-a-a-t.
By Domzo (48 reviews) , 25 Jan 2013If only Clint Eastwood was still in his late 30s or early 40's, he'd be the perfect Jonah Hex. Trust me, I grew up on these comics in the eighties. A bit predictable.- Was this review helpful to you?

Infantile dross
By a customer , 20 Jan 2013Painful about sums it up. A total mess of a film. It would serve as an embarrassment if director Jimmy Hayward had not made a better film in Dr Seuss' Horton Hears a Who! Hayward's next film is titled Turkeys so considering he's just directed the two films so far, it's anyone's guess what that will turn out like. Acting and direction, poor. Plot was childlike and roped together in ADHD fashion. It was incredibly hard to get any sense of plot or meaning out of the film though all credit due to the editor who cut the trailer, which took the best lines and made the film look worth watching. This lamentable film with its shoddy acting and hackneyed characters, lack of plot or proper grounding in Hex's clumsily told back story should not have been released as it was. Nothing much to redeem either. Hex would've been better off left dead.- Was this review helpful to you?

kitsch, clichéd or both
By a customer , 20 Jan 2013Comic book adapt-ion that begins well and becomes the clichéd action bonanza you would generally expect. Big explosions, lots of gun play and fist fights. supporting characters lack depth and there is very little introduction to the characters and their roles. Smith played by Lance Reddick is Hex's Armourer and Lilah played by Megan Fox is Tallulah Black a character who was saved by Hex, who helped her gain vengeance and she would go on to become a bounty hunter herself and eventually Hex's lover. Nominated twice for golden raspberry award. The acting is poor in parts but its also good in a cheesey ive got time to kill with a bag of popcorn kind of way.- Was this review helpful to you?

Why? WHY?!
By Stoopher (4 reviews) , 19 Jan 2013A rather cliched plot with uninteresting characters, some of which don't serve any purpose (Megan Fox, Will Arnett), and scenes that end abruptly without explanation as to how the action moved on. It felt like a second rate Wild Wild West, which says it all really.- Was this review helpful to you?
