Full of Wisdom

If you are interested in Mythology, psyche(ology) or anthropology these lectures are full of fascinating, thought provoking and occasionally contentious nuggets. Campbell is entertaining throughout and often moves so quickly from point to point that there is barely enough time to think about what he has just revealed. The only negatives to this DVD were the quality of the filming of the actual lecture and the pointless summing up by Susan Sarandon which seems to dumb the whole thing down. Overall though, a wonderful taster of just the tip of the mountain of Joseph Campbell's work.- Was this review helpful to you?

I go along with his explanations really well. I like him. Of course, He is gentle in his comparison with different societies
