this dvd is poor in comparison to the Brendan Fraser version called Journey To The Centre Of The Earth (3-D).
Journey To Middle Earth stars Greg Evigan (from National Treasure), Jennifer Dorogi (from Shop Like A Star) & Dedee Pfeiffer (best known for playing Rachel Blanders in Cybill alongside Cybill Shepherd).
This film is scripted from The Jules Verne Classic of his novel called Journey To The Centre Of The Earth.
The search is on for a hidden entrance, leading in to an unknown world, that time has forgotton, which is situated miles and miles below the earth's surface.
The mission or quest for this journey is to rescue a research team trapped deep below the Earth's surface, with the aid of a hi-tech drilling rig.
The film starts okay, but when the searchers find the hidden world, you would expect spectacular special effects of pre-historic creatures to appear, (along the lines of Jurassic Park - in keeping with the book), sadly this is not the case in this film, and the few you do see are less than convincing.
This spoils the whole film, but you would have to watch it yourselves to see what I mean.
Supposed re write of Jules Verne novel who will be turning over in his grave and wish he never wrote this story. Dreadful. Wooden acting, wooden CGI, wooden script.
