this film is superb. 'Journey to the Centre of the Earth - 3-D' stars Brendan Fraser as Trevor, Josh Hutcherson as Sean and Anita Briem as Hannah, and is an adaptation of the novel Journey to the Center of the Earth by Jules Verne.
A science professor whose radical theories have completely tarnished his reputation, goes backpacking across Iceland with his two companions, to locate his missing brother.
Whilst hiking up a mountain, the explorers fall into a deep pit, taking them to the 'center of the Earth.'
As they get used to their surroundings, they find a cave that leads them deeper and deeper, down into the bowels of the planet.
And as so they continue onwards, on a quest to find out what has happened to the scientist's missing brother, Trevor, his nephew and their mountain guide, discovers a fantastic and dangerous lost world in the center of the earth.
There they discover a bizarre landscape filled with terrifying creatures.
Subsequently the eruption of a massive volcano causes a sudden increase in temperature, forcing the trio to make a daring escape, before the heat and other dangers can overpower them.
Will they escape a grizzily fate...? Watch the film to find out...........- Was this review helpful to you?

(449)Jules Verne for the 21st Century
By CSAM10 (5 reviews) , 29 Apr 2013I love Brendan Fraser as an actor, very watchable and always believable. Always love watching this movie, thrills, spills, good fun for the whole family. I watched this after seeing Josh Hutcherson in The Hunger Games and was equally impressed with his acting ability.- Was this review helpful to you?

This is not 3D Blu-Ray but old fashioned 3D
By Stevieleeds (1 review) , 08 Mar 2013This is not 3D Blu-Ray...it requires blue and red glasses that do not come with it. I am sending it back marked, 'Faulty' because I was unable to watch it with my 3D TV and 3D Bluray player!- Was this review helpful to you?
