Scary
By sakuraba1982 (116 reviews) from Dover , 01 Aug 2007[Highly rated reviewer]
Dark scary but somehow not as scary as the 1st, maybe we have all got used to the long dark haired ghosts after the ring/grudge etc. I preferred this version to the american remake but there are plenty of good scares to be had in this sequel , the second half of the film is packed full of creepy moments and did i just see something moments???
Well worth a watch- Was this review helpful to you?

(62)freaky stuff
By a customer , 26 Feb 2012Yes this is basically the same format as the previous films, if you've seen them, reworked with a twist but man if theres one thing the japanese no its horror,i think ive seen pretty much every horror film made from the exercist to hell raiser to nightmare on elm street countless zombie films and so on,but this for me is some seriously freaky stuff i mean ghosts arnt tangable things, meaning that you cant fight them like other things i mean place yourself in the pretagonists position and you see some creepy @rse ghost coming to get you with no chance of escape cause it will just keep following you anyway then what do you?,try and punch it? i mean i would but your hand would go straight through it cause its a ghost and thats not to mention that freaky clicking sound the woman makes when shes coming for you i must admit im not easily frightened by monsters, demons, killers and the like because i fancy my chances against pretty much anything but this stuff it creeps me out , a review i read said dont watch it alone, ofcourse i did but i would say if your one of these jump at shadow types ...just dont watch it,and if your not well arnt you the big tough guy .. hope she comes for yer- Was this review helpful to you?

Poor effort as the plot holds nothing new
By a customer , 17 Jan 2012The original was brilliant, the sequel isn't as good. it consists of various overlapping characters all dying in various ways over an extremely confusing timescale - the woman sees the little boy everywhere yet convieniently forgets to tell anyone this, thereby condemning every single person in this film. It does not have the same effect as the first as it involves so many characters and you know that the creepy little boy as his mother are behind everything.- Was this review helpful to you?

ju -on goes on
By juradino (813 reviews) from London , 22 Dec 2010The curse born of someone who dies in grip of powerful rage enters horror movie makers world. Death meets life in ghostly episodes focusing on the main protagonists who become connected to the house with that lethal grudge. Probably satire on making television movies.- Was this review helpful to you?

Grudge 2
By a customer from Winnersh, England , 09 Feb 2010Enjoyed first movie on tv recently so thought I would try sequel. This is a classic case of great original poorer sequel. Once you get over the creepy woman and child popping up all over the place the sequel offers nothing new.- Was this review helpful to you?
