juan to watch (see what i did there...???)

I only rented this for a laugh and didn't expect much from it.
Well, turns out it made me laugh for all the right reasons. It's a quirky and amusing zombie tale that is just a bit different from other zombie tales I've watched - and I've watched a few of them...!!!
The characters are all a bit unhinged (but charmingly so...in their own way...) and the predicaments they get into are pretty surreal, but go with it. It's light-hearted and there are some clever touches and unexpected laugh-out-loud moments.
I liked it!!- Was this review helpful to you?

(10)Excellent - Do rent!
By a customer , 06 Mar 2013Excellent Zombie comedy Cuba style. If you don't mind the subtitles it is well made. They must have asked the whole town to take part as zombies- Was this review helpful to you?

More alive than dead
By Platospupil (202 reviews) , 06 Nov 2012Shaun of the Dead no, but a fun little flick nonetheless. The plot, well you can guess that, the run of play, no real surprises there either; the final act: hmm. I liked it. Hammy and lacking the production values which we may be used to, this little nasty wings along and, well I think anyway, tells some nice human stories on the way. Bravo.- Was this review helpful to you?

Usual zombie movie, in Spanish. Boring.
By Lutzman (12 reviews) from London , 27 Aug 2012Groudbreaking! They must have watched a different film. I only got this film because I was looking for something different from the usual zombie movie. The only thing different is that it's in Cuba and turns into gay porn. I stopped watching at that point, so maybe that's what they mean by ground breaking- Was this review helpful to you?
