- John Wagner and Carlos Ezquerra's comic-book creation of a shoot-first-ask-questions-later cop who is also judge and jury finds the ideal actor in Sylvester Stallone, but the film strands him without a decent script in which he can flex his muscles.

  Fun action-packed sci-fi movie.
  
  Despite what some critics say, Judge Dredd is a very good sci-fi movie with lots of action and Sly plays Dredd very well. Reccommended to any sci-fi fan.

  I enjoyed this movie - probably would give it 3 1/2 stars if possible. It is a classic, with all the best elements of a comic book story.
