Vinnie Jones rumoured for X-Men spin-off

Footballer-turned-actor Vinnie Jones may star in his own X-Men spin-off, it emerged this week. Jones played the vicious Juggernaut in X-Men: The Last Stand and rumours have begun circulating that his character may have a whole movie to himself soon, the Guardian reports. Legions of comic book fanatics can rest easy, following the official confirmation from studio executives that the much-rumoured Wolverine spin-off is in development. While it is unlikely that Storm (Halle Berry), Phoenix (Famke Janssen), Rogue (Anna Paquin), Beast (Kelsey Grammer) or even Vinnie Jones as Juggernaut, from X-Men: The Last Stand, will make it into the spin-off, Hugh Jackman will reprise his role as the title character. Vinnie Jones steps into latex for X-men role

Vinnie Jones, the star of Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels has been named as the latest actor to feature in the third X-men movie. Jones will join Catwoman star Halle Berry, Sir Ian McKellen and Hugh Jackman in the forthcoming film as he plays a 7ft villain called Juggernaut. The ex-footballer will have to don a latex suit for the role in order to put on some of the 65 stone needed for his ill-famed character.
