This junior version of Crocodile Dundee was another vehicle for Home Improvement star Tim Allen that failed to make much of a dent in the UK market. Allen plays a New York financier who discovers he has a teenage son (Sam Huntington) who has been brought up by an Amazonian tribe. The child's arrival in New York is the cue for the usual fish out of water gags. It's an amiable but predictable affair, and Martin Short is wasted in a silly Russian Mafia subplot.
Mildly entertaining comedy of a fatherŠson relationship in two differing cultures, so that each has a turn at getting things wrong.

this dvd is superb. Jungle2Jungle is a comedy Disney re-make of 'Little Indian, Big City.' It stars Tim Allen & Martin Short, JoBeth Williams along with Sam Huntington.
In this version Tim Allen portrays workaholic Michael Cromwell, a business minded man who travels to the Amazon in order to have the last divorce papers signed by his ex-wife, Patricia.
Patricia left Michael 13 years ago, pregnant with their son and unluckily for Michael his trip to the rain forest, also provides him with a meeting with his now 13 year old son, Mimi Siku (played by Sam Huntington.), who is not a normal everyday sort of teenager.
Michael is forced to take Mimi to his home, in New York, in order for Mimi to complete a task given to him by the tribal leader. The task being to bring back fire from the Statue of Liberty.
Michael has to much of a busy schedule, in spending time with his fashion designer fiancee, planning the wedding, and finding a buyer for 5 tons of coffee beans, to spend time with Mimi.
And sadly for Michael, Mimi's jungle instincts make it hard to keep him cooped up.
Mayhem ensues.... I will not tell you what happens... watch the film to find out.....
Fan's of Home Improvments will love this comedy adventure, and this is typical Disney with a dollop comedy and a splash of sentimentaliy with a generous helping of moral importance... with good support from the ever excellent Short (Innerspace) and featuring a young LeeLee (the Glass house) but it's Martika the spider that adds the necessary fun! worth a watch and this will really keep the kids happy.
This is a brilliant movie with the star tim allen already a comedy man being in home improvement and the santa claus and a stand up comedian but the tranquiliser dart is so funny but get it if you want a good laugh.

Not one of my all time favourites, but still fun. Y' know what I mean? *** out of *****
i loved this film and think i will rent it 1 more time
Typical disney movie which caters for the whole family. Wholesome fun with jokes centred around the 'city trader guy' coping in the jungle and the vice versa when his jungle son comes to New York. Good all rounder. Worth watching with the kids
the family enjoyed watching this, very good film
