When a film has a title like 'Junk: Evil Dead Hunting' you pretty much know what to expect. Atsushi Muroga, director of the lo-fi heist/mullet movie 'Score!' decides to add the undead to his usual mix of brash bad boys and cheap n' cheerful thrills with this low budget, high octane tribute to old-school zombie shlockers. It's loud, its silly and it features a thigh boot wearing, high kicking undead diva played to eye rolling perfection by Miwa Yanagizawa, plus horror cinema's grumpiest heroine Jun (Nobuyuki Asano) who, when not shooting zombies, spends the entire movie complaining about men or trying to buy a new car.....Friday night trash cinema at its best.
yes it was JUNK!!!
The acting was just about the worst we have seen for a long time definately came across as a cheap budget horo flick with a very dull story line.
