  • Hectic chase movie that, jettisoning the slight intellectual content of the first two movies, concentrates on shocks and thrills, which it delivers efficiently.

    superb..................

this film is superb. it stars Sam Neill, Tea Leoni and William H. Macy, in this last Jurassic Park film in the trilogy set.

Paleontologist Alan Grant has sworn never to return to Jurassic Park. (Ellie is married with a young son called Charlie, but she and Alan Grant are still very close.) As before Alan still needs funding for his research, so when a wealthy thrill-seeking couple call on him, Alan and his assistant, Billy, agree to take them on a sightseeing flight.

By the time Alan Grant finds out what their true purpose is, which is to land on the island and search for their missing son, all of their lives are in great danger.

And also Alan Grant's newfound theory about Raptor intelligence will have its deadly proof in this adventure.

A new dinosaur also makes an appearance called the Spinosaurus, which would give a T-Rex a run for its money.

this film is the fastest-moving, most action-packed film of the series.

    well worth renting out.

    This Series Has Died Out

This is one film too far - despite the return of some of the original characters this sequel has completely lost it's 'wow' factor. You've seen it all before and done with a great deal more excitement. It's like a Triceratops with no horns: pointless.

let down when compared to the other two films, lacked substance.

very weak story but the effects are cool.

    Another Dino Adventure

OK - the third in the series of films where a dinosaur is foolishly released (or actively sought) and stupid humans then regret so doing cos dinos eat them. Nuff Zed.

However, with stunning and very believable (if you accept walking, talking T Rex's in the 21st C) effects and an acceptably robust storyline this is a decent Sat Eve film.

    Same same but different

In a way I wish I had never read the first book because my Jurassic Park experience has just gone downhill since then. The first film, though I quite enjoyed it, was a slim reflection of the content of the book. Subsequent books and films seem to have been developed together and go nowhere near the original. This latest is for when you haven't seen a Dino movie for a while and you can handle the predictability of the inevitable escape against impossible odds, all the actors you've never seen before getting eaten, and the noise. To try and up the anti a new 'villain' is introduced, even more mean than the T-Rex and eats Rex's for breakfast but it wasn't that memorable that I remember the name. The raptors and compys and veggiesaurous's are all still featured. It was ok but it's been a long time since I saw something similar and I suggest that's a good idea or it might be quite disppointing in the comparison.

    Truly awful

If I could give it 0 stars I would. You expect some silliness in a film about dinosaurs, and I am all for suspension of disbelief (especially in a film about dinosaurs), but this is such utter tripe that you simply have to switch it off. Nothing in the first twenty minutes is believable (as only two of those minutes involves dinosaurs this is quite significant) and as for the plane crash – I honestly thought it was going to end up being a dream it was so ridiculous). Don’t hire it!

    Better than the Lost World

Very good sequel to the two previous trips to the islands of Jurrasic Park. Much better than the Lost World, and shorter running time so it fits in on any night of the week. Rent it, don't buy it!

    Crap!

What a load of rubbish!! I loved Jurassic Park, they should have left alone and never made these sequals. The dinosaurs dont even look real anymore, the special effects are not what they used to be.
