Excellent Refreshing MovieBy F Parvez from London , 03 May 2007
[Highly rated reviewer]Kabi Alvida Na Kehna has really broken barriers in terms of contemporary Bollywood Movies, a usual break from the dreary boy meets girl, they fall in love and then family tensions / Greed from opposing parties break them up.
It was refreshing to see in a Bollywood film Karan Johar tackling the issue of how love develops, in a non-society conforming way which is not necessarily the most moral of ways. This movie really is for the modern Asian, who is able to open their eyes, and embrace reality.
Acting was great from all parties, with beautiful songs and Cinematography.
A must see film, and a credit to the young up and coming Karan Johar.

Kabhi Alvida Naa KehnaBy a customer , 23 Sep 2012I thoroughly enjoyed this film on every level. It was really well acted and very meaningful. It shows how important it is to have good personal, especially intimate, relationships.
A movie to make you appreciate what you haveBy a customer , 02 May 2011There are three kinds of married people in the world. First, whose marriages are arranged. Then there are those who fall in love and marry their soul mates. These few are the most fortunate people in the world. And lastly, there are those couples that marry for their parents, for money or play at it ...
This is a movie that makes you think about what you have and appreciate it.
Karan Johar never fails to entertain!By Kiran6 (5 reviews) from Bristol , 05 Sep 2009Absolutely loved this film!
Karan Johar never fails to entertain me! He makes me realise that not all love stories are fairy tale like. A very realistic approach to relationships in this film and full of drama!
Songs were ace. In fact, so much so that I found myself listening to them on my laptop more!
Amitabh Bachan and all the rest play their roles really well. SRK doesn't disappoint either!
A recommended film not to my surprise since it's directed by Karan Johar!
BrilliantBy dumbolives (269 reviews) from Shetland , 24 Aug 2009All of the actors in this film did a fantastic job. I think the rate at which the story moved along was spot on and I just really enjoyed every bit of it. Certainly one of the better made Bollywood films I think.
