The film was daringly different for its times. But its stale fare when viewed in the context of Yash CHopra films.
To cast Amitabh, the new action hero in a spineless character and pair him opposite Waheeda Rehman takes guts.
Shashi Kapoor is bubbly. Raakhee must have been in her best, appearance wise. Rishi and Neetu pair is pleasant, young and lovable.
Kabhi Kabhi song is the highlight of the film. Its a classic.

Classic Film With Amazing Soundtrack

The title song has to be one of the best if not the best song ever written and the poetry in the film is all of a very high standard.
