<i>Strange coincidence</i> that a writer about serial murders ends up travelling across the US with - guess what . . . .? This point aside Brad Pitt was excellent as the scary but at times pathetic and almost likeable bad guy and Juliette Lewis was outstanding as his outwardly naive and loyal-to-the-death girlfirend. You really could empathise with all four characters in a strange way - this film will keep your attention until the end - put it on your list now!
