I do like art films and can tolerate a slow pace and do not mind foreign languages even without sub-titles.
This film is very slow paced and has promise which it unfortunately does not fulfill. This film literally goes nowhere. The acting is wooden. The plot is rather silly and unlikely.
The only vague thing it gets one star for is the scenery and the extras. The leading actress is quite pretty when when she lifts her burka.
Do not waste your time with this- if you need to see a film about Afghanistan then watch the Kite-Runner instead which is excellent!
