Kasabian butchered
By blackpolekev (201 reviews) from blackpole , 15 Jul 2012[Highly rated reviewer]
This film of Kasabian's live performance at O2 was shown in Vue cinemas for one night only on 30 May and presented in Vue 'profound sound', whatever that is. I still couldn't tell whether it was mono or stereo.
They played a few well known songs: When You're Strange, I'm On Fire, and Jingle Bells (well it was filmed in December); the lead singer sang Happy Birthday To You to another band member as it was his birthday. Someone should take him to one side and tell him that people don't actually sing that - it only happens in American movies, not in the grown up world of real life. I hope he knows about Santa.....
The editing was headache inducing and absolutely atrocious; it was not so much edited as butchered.
With just the one showing, at peak time on Orange Wednesday, I expected the auditorium to be full but there were only 2 other people in the audience and they both left before the end. Need I say more?

(2)Top Leicester lads
By mtcoste (1 review) , 19 Oct 2012A top performance visually, musically and as always with these Leicester lads great interaction with the audience - one to buy for the collection at home could watch these boys over and over, the whole concert is full of storming songs from a band who are part of a rare breed of raw intelligent quality - can't wait for the next release!- Was this review helpful to you?
