Not a very demanding night for Katherine

I must admit this disc was a little disappointing, after enjoying her concert in the Swansea park. Mainly this was due to the lack of opera , which amounted to about 10 minutes of Carmen about one hour into the performance. I feel her voice is wasted on the run of mill songs on this disc. Obviously this type of music makes her more popular to a larger audience. if you like music which any ordinary singer could cope with, then this disc is for you, but I prefer Katherine to use her talented voice to the full.- Was this review helpful to you?

(8)Charming and Delightful
By Chrisaljack (302 reviews) from Hellingly , 05 Dec 2012Katherine Jenkins is rightly one of the most popular singers today. She has cleverly avoided 'pigeon-holing' herself into a specific category and happily sings popular as well as classical music with equal aclarity. Singing to an arena the size of the O2 and providing a show that impacts the audience must be an extremely daunting task: this show succeeds brilliantly. This recording makes the most of the show.- Was this review helpful to you?

Beautifully Relaxing
By marks13 (1 review) , 23 Mar 2012In response to the person claiming she has little talent, then I would like to invite you to sing opera in front of thousands of people for that length of time.
I love watching tour dvds and you come to expect that singers don't push themselves like they do for one off performances such as on TV. They can't, it would ruin their vocal chords and would be knackering.
This is beautifully relaxing to watch, shame the stage design wasn't pushed more, but who cares? It's all about Katherine and she does an amazing job!- Was this review helpful to you?
