A Stunning Debut Captured on Film
Katie Melua is the modest, highly talented singer whose Debut CD and DVD have gone multi platinum. The concert is her last of the tour, held at The Fairfield Halls.
Her art is perfectly executed, every nuance of each song, notably 'Call Of The Search' 'Blame it on The Moon' (written by the legendary Mike Batt, producer of Katie Melua's debut and part of the highly talented backing band. Although Katie Melua is just 20 (19) at the time of her first release, her proffesionalism is unique to her - this is not another Joss Stone, a performer of great potential who has yet to stop interpreting other soul singers to develop her own sound and voice. Katie is 100% genuine.
Her CD 'Call of the search is released in August and her follow up in September of this year. -

Breath of fresh air
What a fantastic concert, one of the new younger artists, born in Russia lived in Ireland before coming to England. Katie is unique in her style of performance and well worth taking the time view.
