'The Birds', but cheapBy Rustyfilms (154 reviews) from Bradford , 28 May 2011I'm not going to waste much time on this review.
It's just a cheap re make of the birds to be honest, and some of the CGI effects are terrible, 'The Birds' from the 60s has some better effects. There's nothing new here, and no new surprises. You are not missing anything of you don't see it.
hommage to the birdsBy juradino (815 reviews) from London , 19 Jan 2011Ravens infected from sick cattle start to attack small town of 600 when they grow in numbers and become organized. It takes a while for the inhabitants to realize what they are faced with as the carnage builds up towards its logical conclusion.
Kaw rated 15By entertainmentman (215 reviews) from South Croydon , 05 Sep 2010'' Quite a good horror film simular to the birds by Alfred Hitchcock about ravens terrorising a small country community. The effects were ok for a lower budget movie.''
"Kaw" blimey! It's "The Birds"!!By wikkidsmyle (438 reviews) from Newmarket , 21 Nov 2009Essentially, 'Kaw' is an update of the classic 1963 Hitchcock film 'The Birds'; it even stars Rod Taylor (albeit in a minor role). Unfortunately, that's where the comparison ends, for whilst 'Kaw' has slightly better bird effects, the story has little suspense and there's no sense of terror or indeed action. The reasoning for the birds going mental is good, but some of the set pieces aren't (and are just silly). Better to avoid this and just rent 'The Birds' instead...
