Ram Dayal is an elderly widower who lives in Bombay with her two daughters Anju and Mnaju. A very loving father, who has brought them up in an atmosphere of laughter and exuberance, teaching then independence and self-confidence as a way of life. Anju's marriage takes place in a totally unusual place, where the entire household function like an army machine Mrs. Dwarka Prasad is the matriarch who runs the household like a monarch ruling the kingdom. Khubsoorat is the story of Manju's assault on the discipline. She corrects and teaches all the family members to love, live and laugh. Carrying the message to the youth that freedom is a privilege and not a right, and the road to this privilege is lined with the strictest discipline.
