One of the top Amitabh movies in Post Shahenshah period

Amitabh comes to India from Afganisthan in search of the killer of SriDevi's father.The killer gets killed in Amitabh's hand and Amitabh gets a life imprisonment in India.Meanwhile in Afganisthan SriDevi gives birth to a daughter.She goes insane waiting for Amitabh to return.Sridevi daughter grows up to become SriDevi(double role).Nagarjuna is her love interest.The daughter and mother travels to India in search of Amitabh and the estranged family is reunited after the regulatory villian bashing from Amitabh.Amitabh is superb in the role of Afgan leader.SriDevi is also fantastic in the role of the mother and daughter.Direction from Mukul Anand is A1.Indian Cinema would have benefitted from him a lot more had he not died at this early age.This movie is recomended- Was this review helpful to you?

Wonderful Movie
By Jovy Thomas from England , 28 Feb 2006The film is a good entertainer.It has got some wonderful visuals.Sridevi looks gorgeous. The character Badshah Khan is safe in the hands of Amithab.The film mainly focuses on sacrifice.Other factors the picture points to are, keeping the promise,belief in God & the power of love. Some scenes turn out to be unbelievable. Many times we can see Khan encountering villains with a sword. Even though villains are provided with guns & they are using it,bullets fail to hit Khan(Amithab). The climax is splendid with fights on horses.- Was this review helpful to you?
