I understand that this film may not portray everyone's experiences of being a teenager in London, but for me it was almost painfully honest. Of course it shouldn't be used to assess and judge all teenagers, but to call it unrealistic is just plain wrong. I went to school in the area this film was made and have to commend it for its accurate depiction of language, attitude and social hierarchy. The characters were mostly very well rounded and flawlessly acted by an almost entirely unknown cast. The storylines are extreme and obviously a magnified version of usual day to day events, but do not dismiss this film because of other reviewers opinions of it's realism. Watch it and realise that this IS happening, I saw it.
