Brilliant, much better than Evolution!

Compared to Kinect - Dance Evolution, this is brilliant. I rented both, it took 10 minutes to start enjoying Central, after 10 minutes with Evolution, I wanted to eat my own ankles. I can only assume those that are giving it a less than a 5 star haven't played any of the other dance games. This is the best dance game by far. Plus you get to dance to tracks you actually recognise, rather than something that sounds like the xbox generates randomly on the fly!- Was this review helpful to you?

Dance central xbox 360
By sduk (80 reviews) from Smethwick , 16 Nov 2011got this for the wife to play. We are not really into too much of this type of music and as a result only really knew 3 or 4 of the tracks.
This really put us both off and after playing the songs we liked on a couple of skill levels we pretty much both said yeah, ok its good but not my thing. The DLC is quite pricey too at 240G per track in most cases.
The controls are the best Kinect has to offer and you do have to dance to get it to work , not like play station move or Wii.
The graphics are pretty cool , kinda cartoonish and not too serious which is good as this is meant to be a fun experience.
recommended for families or people that wanna learn a routine.

Seems nobody else shares your view, if it's so rubbish then how are so many people shouting how great it is?? I bought on straight away, i'm a 31 year old male and rarely play games but this was fun, 1000X better than the Wii as you can just tap the wii controller on your hand and it will perform the same moves, with the kinect you actually have to move as it tracks your body.. Maybe that's why you think it's rubbish? Because you can't do well in the games like you can on the Wii? Even a 2 year old can complete any game on the Wii just by waving the controller around in any direction.- Was this review helpful to you?
