As if the 1976 remake of King Kong wasn't bad enough, producer Dino de Laurentiis and director John Guillermin sink to even more ludicrous depths with this awful sequel. The giant ape didn't die when he fell off the World Trade Centre ten years earlier, and now Linda Hamilton leads a surgical team attempting to revive him with a giant artificial heart. Meanwhile, back in the jungle, Indiana Jones-style adventurer Brian Kerwin has discovered a female Kong — with breasts! Although there is some demented fun to be had — the transplant operation uses laughably over-sized medical props — this couldn't be worse if it tried. How did anybody keep a straight face?
King Kong's back, and this time he's got a girlfriend! This is the sequel to the '76 King Kong, and the plot goes that kong survived the fall from the twin towers, and has been in a coma for ten years.
Its actually not that bad. If you like kong then you will enjoy this. A bit cheesy yes but the effects are good for their time and so i have given this 3 out of 5.
