Well for an interprutation of king lear as it goes it really wasn't half bad. Even though it's a play it's set and shown as a film which is good. The acts and scenes that are set on the heath or in the castle are shown on the heath or in the castle which gives a real sense of where the plays leading. For those that are familar with the play will realise theres a few minutes of 'extra' footage that makes the play smoother, but also it sticks to the the script for the whole of the play. It really helped for my As level English.
