I originally saw this film years ago and have been looking for it ever since. I remembered it to be brilliant and wasn't let down. This film is hot and gritty. It is a heart felt story about a young victim of the Depression and his fight to survive. Full of hauntingly iconic moments, this film with fill your soul. Jesse Bradford was simply brilliant as Aaron, a young lad who is trying to make the most of it but understands that he is in the same boat as everyone else. Seriously under-rated, this film gets under your skin and makes you feel the heat along with the main characters. Dark but funny at times, this film is must for any serious movie watcher.
