Attenborough on Fine Form

Attenborough on fine form but this SKY tv production didn't capture the whole familys interest the way that the BBC's output over recent years has (eg Life, Planet Earth etc). Beautifully shot though and very informative if you only have a basic knowledge of plants.

We don't have a 3D tv but the footage looked absolutely wonderful in 2D.

The 3d effect is fantastic a must for anyone with a 3 d tv David Attenborough is excellent as all ways

David Attenborough is excellent, as usual, in communicating the wonder of the huge variety of plants represented at Kew. He shows us the features of some of the more bizarre and wonderful species, and makes it crystal clear why it is imperative that we look after our vegetation as so many become extinct each year. He interviews some of the movers and shakers of the world of botany, and reveals the absolute dedication of the Kew staff who do their best to preserve such a huge range of plants, and show them to us in all their glory.

Add to that the contribution of 3D to our understanding and you have a superb series of programmes.
