Consists of three ballets of approx. 30 odd minutes each and a few short snatches from others. As would be expected from the Kirov, they are colouful, well performed, and a delight to watch. I enjoyed the Petrushka in the dvd 'Russian Ballet' a great deal more than this one, and Paquita was also known to me. However Chopiniana was new to me as a ballet, although I knew Chopin's music, and was particularly delightful. This dvd is excellent value.
