Smart & colourful
By a customer from Leicester, England , 21 Oct 2005[Highly rated reviewer]
A moving and interesting story of social climbing and making something of yourself despite a poor childhood. Tony is used to doing what he has to do to survive without worrying who it hurts. But when a job devastates the family of the girl he loves he is faced with the more difficult challenge of trying to put things right. The cinematography and direction is good and the movie strides ahead with a fairly swift pace. The heroine is a singer so there are quite a few smart routines in the happy go lucky phase of the movie, as things go wrong for the family the character isn't singing and dancing and this helps change the feeling of the film to a more serious and sad tone very naturally.- Was this review helpful to you?

Could have been a lot better but fails
By Ryan Ahmed from Birmingham, United Kingdom , 23 Jul 2004Dur to poor acting from Bobby. A few good songs and Priyanker excells at some of the song scenes but her acting is very mediocre.- Was this review helpful to you?
