[Highly rated reviewer]As a avid James Patterson reader I was thrilled to find a film made from his book of the same name. Whats more Morgan Freeman playing my favourite detective.
The film is not as dark as the book, probably a good thing, but stays true to the storyline.
Now I'm just waiting for the rest of the Alex Cross series being transformed to filmed, as I cant read a book now without picturing Morgan Freeman in the role.
If you like this one you'll love 'Along Came a Spider'.

kiss the girlsBy dondonshannah (71 reviews) from scotland , 03 Jan 2010really good movie, one you have to watch. would buy this to watch it over and over again.
AwfulBy Duzzbob (183 reviews) from Bexleyheath , 21 Oct 2009This is a very bad serial killer 'thriller' with just about everyone involved obviously realising it. Ashley Judd and Morgan Freeman deliver their lines as if they are reading them from their sweaty palms and it's so obvious who the killer is from the moment his character is thrust onto the screen that you can't even have fun guessing. If you are tempted to rent this then just watch Seven again. Heck, even watching the Bone Collector again would be preferable. I would have given it zero stars if it were not for Morgan Freeman's freckles. How they haven't been nominated for some kind of award yet is beyond me.
Watch it !By Michael Hardcastle from High Peak, Derbyshire , 12 Sep 2009Really good story some unexpexted twists.
SuspensefulBy a customer from Wetherby , 27 Aug 2009Morgan Freeman on good form; implausible plot but the suspense will keep you watching.
