Bring to a slow boil, simmer for ages, until it suddenly bubbles over!

This was an interesting little mini-series (in that there were just the two episodes).

Eddie Izzard was definitely the hook for me, and initially it was a bit 'meh' - we watched the first half of the first episode, when a lot of scene setting happened, but Mr Izzard didn't do much - but not long after that he was back to his manic best.

The second episode was certainly better at keeping you interested, however that's mostly because there was so much going on, it was getting a bit confusing to follow it all.
