Actress Katherine Heigl has given 25 Chihuahuas a special early Christmas gift - their lives. The pooches, all strays, were due to be put to sleep when the Knocked Up star learned of their plight and helped find them a new home. According to People magazine, Heigl and her mother's Jason Debus Heigl Foundation donated £15,625 so the pets could be flown from Los Angeles to their new families in Boston, Massachusetts. The dogs will be made available for adoption at the Humane Society for... Read more
Funnyman Seth Rogen has taken aim at his Knocked Up co-star Katherine Heigl over her suggestions the pregnancy comedy was a little sexist. Rogen and Knocked Up director Judd Apatow have never commented about Heigl's Vanity Fair comments in 2007 - until now, and it seems clear neither will work with the Grey's Anatomy star again. Appearing on Howard Stern's radio show on Thursday (30Jul09), the two pals, who have reteamed for Funny People, ganged up on Heigl, who told Vanity Fair she found it... Read more
Funnyman Seth Rogen was left reeling after accidentally breaking a stuntman's nose in his new movie. The Knocked Up star plays a mall cop in upcoming film Observe and Report and admits watching one scene will turn his stomach - because it will remind him of the moment he knocked a fight partner out. He tells Playboy magazine, "I punched a stuntman in the face and broke his nose. He got a little too close. He claimed it wasn't my fault, which was very noble of him. "It made a really loud... It's regularly laugh-out-loud funny, and should do for Seth Rogen what writer-director Judd Apatow's The 40-Year-Old Virgin did for Steve Carell. Indeed, Rogen looks like a very hot prospect (or he would, if slackerdom didn't preclude anything so basely careerist). He's a natural cut-up, with a... Read more
US sleeper hit of the summer Knocked Up has hit the box office chart on this side of the pond but has not managed to push Jason Bourne from the number one spot just yet. Knocked Up, which stars Seth Rogen and Katherine Heigl as parents-to-be after they meet one night, debuted at number two for the weekend starting August 24th, according to AC Nielsen. But Matt Damon in The Bourne Ultimatum stayed at the top for the second week, having now generated over £12.9 million in receipts. Rush Hour Read more
