  Nicolas Cage's sci-fi thriller Knowing has taken the top spot in the international box office chart with earnings of £6.9 million. The movie, about a boy who discovers a cryptic premonition, knocked Clint Eastwood's Gran Torino off the top of the international charts outside of the U.S. The East wood film slips to second and comedy Paul Blart: Mall Cop picked up £6.66 million from 14 markets outside of the U.S. to round out the top three.   Nicolas Cage's new sci-fi thriller Knowing has topped the competition at the U.S. box office, taking in £17.2 million in its opening weekend (20-22Mar09).
