Pathetic imitation of ET
By srini from KENT , 15 Nov 2003[Highly rated reviewer]
A pathetic imitation of "ET". It is proved once again that Indian film makers/directors can never come out of their boundaries even if they want to make a different film. The film could have been better without unnecessary fight scenes, songs and most importantly a female lead/heroine. If they wanted to make a remake of "ET" why didn't they stick to original story. I could not understand why they had to resort to turn the main character into a mentally retarded person where they can have a child as a main character. My suggestion is DO NOT WATCH this movie.- Was this review helpful to you?

(25)As good as ET
By a customer from Bradford , 22 Jan 2009Almost as good as the orignal ET. A bit more colourful, entertaining and special effects. Recommended for the whole family.- Was this review helpful to you?

Pleasant Surprise
By a customer from Feltham, England , 18 Jul 2007This is a movie I have been avoiding ever since I heard it was a remake of an Oscar winning Hollywood film of 2 decades ago. When I finally got round to it, I found a very well made tale which follows the Hollywood version fairly closely - with added songs of course, however Hrithik was superb and Preeti good as usual. Even Rekha looked good in a role to suit her age (finally!) Great family entertainment and well worth watching.........just watched the sequel - Krishh and its just as good!
Well done Rakesh Roshan....I wish I`d seen it sooner.- Was this review helpful to you?

brilliant must see
By a customer from england , 24 Apr 2007a great film made me proud as a bollywood fan, finally i found something me and my partner who is caucasian and not understand hindi at all can enjoy together. they usually hate bollywood.
rhitik roshan was fantastic in it the best acting i've seen in bollywood why has he not beeen appreciated more much better than the pioneering roles done by the likes of shah rukh.

WHAT A FIND.....................
By Ken from leicester. England , 17 Jul 2006As i was browsing through some of the recommendations i just happened to stumble across this one. And OH! BOY! what a find. Hecks! yes its an ET remake, and so what! It stikes one right in the heart in its touching moments and makes you giggle in delight in its funnier spells.
Music and songs are 'FANTABULOUS' and Hrithik proves that he is actor that needs to be taken seriously, and is probably one of the the better movers on the Bollywood dance floor.
Rekha as usual is a delight, and there is none better than her to portray the motherly love for her disabled son as she did with such passion. Preity Zinta can do no wrong in my book. As usual she is a sheer delight and her effervescence is limitless. There is never a dull moment when she is around.
Come on lets have some more of this, even if its a remake.
Polishing up old brass always makes it look better. As is the case with 'Koi Mil Gaya'........... ENJOY.- Was this review helpful to you?
