11th October 2011
A man visitis his friends grave on the anniversary of his death every year and prefers to go alone not even taking his wife.
A young man visits him and calls him sensei (teacher) yet he is not a school teacher.
The reasons behind these events come clear and of the burdens they place on the man and through him his wife.
A slow burning look at the pressures that build within us.
Not a classic in my book but of interest to lovers of Japanese cinema.
