  • A pleasant film which has its moments

    [Highly rated reviewer]

Quite a likeable quirky film with a good performance from Jenna Elfman - a vivacious sexy actress who is underrated in my opinion. This is worth renting on Jenna's performance alone. However, compared to the top comedies, I can only rate it 5/10 tops.

  • Better than expected

    Rated - 3.0 stars

I had no expectations other than the cast is excellent and the plot sounds good. Then it is down to the script and the direction.

I found both to be better than I expected. With the good lines and the cast to deliver them I found this better than the average I was prepared for. Very watchable.

  • Archaeologists nightmare

    Rated - 3.0 stars

Professor Krippendorf has spent all his grant money and must produce results to keep his university job. So he 'discovers' a primitive tribe from new guinea which are really his children dressed up and filmed in his back yard. They become the talk of the archaeology world and he has to invent incresingly outrageous material for eager colleagues. Lily Tomlin is hilarious as his suspicious rival while Jenna Elfman is his adoring protege, and love interest. Very funny situation comedy.
