A truly awful documentary. Neither the relationship between Cobain and Love or Cobain's mysterious death are covered sufficiently to leave the viewer with any real answers. The researchers have failed to find any sources with real substantial knowledge or insight. Many included sources seemed to just want to share the limelight and grab their chance of fame. Of course some close friends of kurt are interviewed, yet they are put to little use with the interviews lacking any real direction again leading the viewer to question how well this documentary had been planned etc. Lack of funding and backing for project (brought out in the documentary) due to Love's legal team, made very obvious in what is a very shoddily put together investigation.
A subject with large potential censored out and put to waste, leaving one to question; if it was going to be that difficult to create this doc. with any real depth, then why bother. Or is the fact that censorship and a lack of journalistic freedoms allowed this documentary to possibly blossom meant to be the underlying deep message. If so, that's not what i watched this for and it was a poor message at best.
