What's better than watching Kylie Minogue on the big screen? Answer: watching Kylie Minogue on the big screen in stunning high definition digital 3D. This film of her Aphrodite Les Folies Tour 2011 is excellent and so much better in 3D; it's the next best thing to actually being at the show. The sets are imaginative, the songs are good and so are her costumes, especially of course when she appears as Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love & beauty. Thank goodness for cinemas with digital equipment which enable us to see concerts like this.- Was this review helpful to you?

(4)A Really Great Disc!
By Chrisaljack (308 reviews) from Hellingly , 13 Jan 2013I am not a particular fan of Kylie, but this production is stunning to say the least. The blu-ray version is superb with fantastic visuals and sound. The production values are exceptionally high - and I now know why Kylie is so popular as her singing is really very enjoyable! The included documentary is a terrific 'behind the scenes' film hosted by Kylie and one of the best of this type I have seen. Altogether a really great disc.- Was this review helpful to you?

Big production but ultimately wasted
By a customer , 05 Feb 2012I'm a huge Kylie fan and although I was impressed by the production I was very dissapointed with the show overall. I didn't find it as exciting or as sexy as Kylie's previous concerts. A lot of the new tracks are slow and the old ones have been messed about with. Most of the dancers are male. I also didn't like the fact that some of the visuals have been copied from Pink's concerts who I am also a fan of.- Was this review helpful to you?

Stunning 3D, amazing performer. You must see this!
By Adz79 (2 reviews) , 04 Jan 2012After the tremendous finale to this spectacular show it's obvious that Kylie is one of the best live acts on the planet. It would be easy for someone as tiny as Kylie to get lost in a production as large as this, but she doesn't, she fills the stage and is a captivating performer. The scale is astonishing and the production values are first class and like nothing seen before in a pop concert. Seeing it live was one of the best moments of 2011 and now, thankfully, the 3D Blu-ray gives us a whole new dimension to the traditional concert DVD. The 3D is absolutely amazing, it feels like you're there zooming around the arena, smoke pouring out of your television, water spraying everywhere! It's literally a feast for the senses.
This release is the reason I bought a 3D TV and I'm happy to say it was well worth the money. Other 3D releases have varied considerably in quality but this is the best 3D Blu-ray I've seen. The 3D is stunning, the depth and crispness of image is beautiful behold and really draws you in. This format breathes new life into the concert DVD, all this cutting edge technology and Kylie's unparalleled ability to entertain make this a Blu-ray that MUST be experienced. It will take your breath away.- Was this review helpful to you?
