I was a little disappointed by this film since I watched it with the preconception that it would be funnier than it is. The style of the film is rather choppy with some long set pieces, interspersed with shorter snapshots, which I found disrupted my concentration while watching.
Amongst the characters I particularly enjoyed Sarah Jessica Parker's non-stop youngster and Patrick Stewart's humiliating restaurant owner. There are more smiles than outright laughs, but it is still fun.
