A pleasant surprise.
By AngelCakeTom (4 reviews) , 06 Jul 2012I went into this game with alot of doubts, im not a huge fan of the rockband games, i only enjoyed the first onen really. But this game is alot of fun and it definetly brings the LEGO games style of comedy. It has a great setlist, lots of funny cutscenes and moments, theres tons of crazy stuff to buy. The only thing i can knock it for is the fact that it adopts the Rockband 2 story layout, forcing you to replay alot of the songs. If you have alot of DLC however and maybe the imported Rockband 1 songs selecting 'Build a setlist' gives you an easier time. The acheivments are also pretty straightforward. I would definetly reckomend this to anyone who enjoys music and rhythme games!- Was this review helpful to you?

The best Rock Band since the original!!
By SuperScouse07 (16 reviews) from Liverpool , 01 May 2012After purchasing the last 3 Rock Band games, I decided to give this rent. I was somewhat sceptical however as Rock Band 2 and 3 had not lived up to the hype so I decided to try this, knowing that if it wasn't great I could easily send it back. After playing through the World Tour, Lego Rock Band's main game mode, I have to say it's superb! The game lasted me at least 15 hours and the amount of customisation and unlocks kept me glued to it for hours at a time. The only issue that stopped it getting 5 stars however is the fact that if you have purchased DLC songs in the past, the game does not let you import them into Lego Rock Band unless they are considered by the game to be 'Family Friendly'. To my disappointment, I was unable to play my Machine Head, Slayer and Avenged Sevenfold tracks that I had purchased for previous games. Despite this however, It was still a fantastic game and is definitely worth a rent.- Was this review helpful to you?

Same as the rest
By Minty8 (196 reviews) from Randalstown, Antrim , 23 Feb 2012Maybe I've just got bored of the Rock Band Guitar Hero games but after a few gigs (about 10 songs I just lost interest. But I do think it is just as good as any of the other games- Was this review helpful to you?

MAJOR WARNING
By KID-JR (1 review) , 18 Nov 2011I am annoyed with this game. the idea of rental is to try it out, how can u try a game that requires instruments and a usb microphone to even be able to start the game. there was NOWHERE in the game description mentioning this fact. so i am well and truly fed up.- Was this review helpful to you?
