Typical Hallmark movie but still good
By a customer from Bristol , 29 Sep 2010[Highly rated reviewer]
This is your typical two part made-for-tv movie. It's yet another twist on the Alexandre Dumas novel 'the three musketeers'. Susie Amy does her best but Gerard Depardieu, Michael York and his band of ageing musketeers steal the show as veteran actors should. Depardieu is the only one of the cast to have an actual french accent but don't let that bother you. It's cheesey and doesn't take itself too seriously so sit back and enjoy the show.- Was this review helpful to you?

(3)A Brilliant Movie
By a customer from Stalybridge, Cheshire. , 11 Jul 2012Valentine (D`Artagnans Daughter) has been trained in the art of fencing by her dad & goes off to Paris to try and join the Musketeers. Being a woman she is laughed at, at first & as did D`Atagnan before her challenges a chap to a duel who turns out to be, together with his two pals the sons of the three musketeers. Valentine gets wrongly accused of murder and has to seek the aid of her friends to prove her innocence, but they are on their way to escort a spanish princess who is to become the kings bride. The cardinal has a different idea, he wants the war between France & Spain to continue because on the back of it he is lining his pockets and should Louie marry the spanish princess the war would come to an end. All works out well in the end & Valentine gets enrolled as a Musketeer.
They don`t make movies like this anymore ..No swearing No Sex & No car chases ..Brilliant...
