I love rain... I love the way rain moves in freeze frame when fire engine fly past, I love that some times, just sometimes you can find the end of the rain, just like in cartoons. The place where the leprechauns would linger if they lingered at all. I love the feeling of walking into and out of rain like you were standing in a bus shelter except of course you don't need a shelter when you are on the edge of the rain... If you are wondering what the hell is going on, then you have stumbled upon my online novel, written completely in the review section of Love Film. Weird? yeah well I have to hide it, prying eyes are everywhere and I've only just escaped... We were chatting about Milton Keynes last time we chatted and I mentioned that it was the source of my malaise and well Milton Keynes is a just a metaphor and a dull one at that... So here is to anyone who has ever escaped... I guess time is the key to this tale... this makes the tale doubly tricky beacuse it's equally dusted and done and it hasn't happened yet and therefore it might never happen, confused? well hold on that because i'm just warming the oven... My name is Kate for those picking up the trail here in Bowie-ville and I am digital historian. You're reading this and you're thinking what in Meltom Mowbray is this young women going on about? Well I'm here because like everyone else in Milton Keynes in the year 2300, I ran. You think its bad now? right now it's well ordered neat and with adequate housing and transportation, In 2300 it's self aware and it's angry... It killed most of us, sorted us first naturally, catalogued us into our definable terms... Poets, trouble makers, basket makers, basket cases, the lost, the merry and the weak the fun, the fillies and the freaks... Milton Keynes is not a happy bunny and all work and no play has made it a dangerous place indeed. I lost my friends and family and my love on the day it rained last in Milton Keynes, but it wasn't raining the way I like it was raining blood. I was lucky I saw it coming and I managed to escape. The how is easy, I digitised myself and fled in binary. time travel? Complex? yes and no, faster than light travel isn't as hard as you might think at least not for light. So I ran, at break neck turbo charged fibre optic stampede dot dash zero one zero one all the way from there to here and I'm still running and MK 4 as it will become known is always following so we must move on... The next clue is... Santa Carla.. murder capital of the world and plagued by 'all the god damn Vampires'
