This one is a definate for all. The world all over needs firefighters so this movie opens your eyes to what the firefighters families go through day to day, not knowing if their loved ones will come home at the end of their shift. Starring John Travolta and Joaquin Pheonix who each play their parts equally brilliant this one is definalty going to be jumping off the shelves once released.- Was this review helpful to you?

By shillo27 (20 reviews) from Norwich , 01 Sep 2012my girlfriend had been going on about how emotionally powerful this film was, and i was expecting to be clearing lumps in my throat throughout the film. turns out that it was a very typically cliche movie about a firefighter losing his life doing the job he loves. there is nothing wrong with that at all and i thought the cast were perfect, i was just expecting the storyline to be more in depth and gripping but i was ultimately disappointed with this the end of this film. while tearjerking sparsely yet powerful frequently i can suggest this film to anyone who has respect for any firefighter or brigade the world over. good but not great!- Was this review helpful to you?
