Giant memories flooding backBy Mcguffin62 (12 reviews) from London , 16 Dec 2013I remember as a kid how creepy this compelling show was and in particular an episode with a giant cruel little girl and her tormenting ways with the little people. 40 years on I wasn't disappointed. Well before the days of CGI and digital effects the show brilliantly combines real giant sets with nifty editing and apart from the dated sexist roles still packs a puch with storylines that seem to put our heroes in jeapardy. Today's most kids shows are light and focus on jovial comedy. The 8 year old twins I showed this to - despite believing it was 'old' were totally engrossed.
One disc is enough!!!By Quamash (8 reviews) , 23 Jan 2013A good trip down memory lane, but unfortunately one disc was enough. It felt terribly dated and not in a good way. The stories are predictable and really the same every episode. It was good to watch it again though, like I said, but not too much of it!!!
